Another Robot

For our holiday club (VBS) I decided it would be fun to have a computer in the foyer that could give the children some basic information and also have photographs from the holiday club on it. I was given an old laptop that had a faulty keyboard. I loaded Ubuntu onto it and had a video screen saver running. When the mouse was moved the children could look at different aspects of holiday club using a power point (OpenOffice) that had hyperlinks to different pages. There was a link to the memory verse, theme for the day, pictures, etc. The children loved it!

We called it InfoBot.
