Building the ankle cylinders

I started with some perspex tubing and flat perspex sheet. I cut the tube to length and cut out circles with a hole saw in the perspex sheet.

 Next I glued the circles onto the ends of the cut tubes.

 I then cut groves into the tubes on my lathe and after this I cut the recesses into the tubes using a mitre saw and a Dremel cutting disk.

 After adding the end details from scraps of perspex I painted the final ankle cylinders.
